Time to practice for the virtual Vineyard Race

Registration is now open for the 2012 virtual Vineyard Race hosted by Sailonline. For those who are not able to sail the actual race this coming weekend this is a great chance to sail it from the comfort of your home. And if you think it’s not very challenging, be aware that noted America’s Cup designer, Bruce Nelson, won our virtual race last year. Click here.

Registering is easy. Create a log on, enter your boat and you’re set. There will also be a few practice races before the real Vineyard Race starts this Friday so register now.

Winning the race won’t be as easy as registering, though. To do well in this race you will need to pay close attention to wind and current.
