The Vineyard Race presents constant strategic and navigational challenges, demands a crew maintain boat speed around the whole course, and never fails to throw in a few “equalizers” along the way. As a coastal distance race it has everything

What is the most difficult part of racing The Vineyard?
— Maintaining a “sprint mentality” for a short distance race
— Managing the exit from / entrance back to LIS when conditions advantage larger or smaller boats

What’s the most rewarding part of racing The Vineyard?
That would be winning, of course
